Job Overview

As the Director of Software and AI, you will be responsible for strategic direction, management, and development of AI and software solutions for humanoid robots. This role requires deep expertise in AI, embedded systems, robot control, and leadership in multidisciplinary technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and implement AI & software strategies aligned with the company’s vision.

  • Lead R&D teams in optimizing AI performance and control software.

• AI & Software Research and Development:

  • Oversee the development of AI algorithms for humanoid robots, including reinforcement learning (RL), motion control, language interaction, and behavioral modeling.

  • Develop embedded control software, motion planning, control systems, and sensor integration.

  • Build high-precision simulation environments to test AI and robot control systems.

• Team Management and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a talented team of AI and software engineers.

  • Foster an innovative work environment that encourages creativity and technical excellence.

• Collaboration and Implementation:

  • Work closely with hardware, UX/UI, and production teams to ensure efficient integration of AI and software into robotic systems.

  • Partner with research institutions, industry experts, and stakeholders to stay updated on the latest technological trends.

  • Ensure AI and software solutions comply with safety standards and AI ethics.

Job Requirements

• Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Mechatronics, AI, Computer Science, Robotics, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in AI or software development, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record in developing and deploying AI algorithms, embedded software, or control systems for robotics.

  • Deep knowledge of machine learning models, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and autonomous control systems.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AI technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.

  • Experience in embedded programming, system-on-chip (SoC) development, and AI optimization on edge devices.

  • Strong background in robotic control programming, simulation systems, and sensor integration.

• Leadership and Business Acumen:

  • Strong project management skills, organizational abilities, and cross-functional team leadership.

  • Strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with executives and key stakeholders.
