About VinMotion

VinMotion is a humanoid robotics company under Vingroup, focused on building Motion Intelligence by combining AI, Robotics, and real-world deployment.
We are expanding our AI team to develop LLM and Multimodal AI systems powering human–robot interaction and autonomous task execution.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize LLM-based systems for real-world applications (chat, instruction-following, task execution)

  • Build and improve fine-tuning and alignment pipelines (SFT, RLHF, DPO)

  • Work with multimodal models (text, vision, audio) for humanoid robots

  • Develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems with internal data

  • Optimize model performance: latency, throughput, and cost (quantization, distillation)

  • Deploy and maintain models in production (API, edge, cloud environments)

  • Collaborate with Robotics, Perception, and Product teams to integrate AI into real systems

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning / Deep Learning

  • Hands-on experience with LLMs / NLP (transformers, fine-tuning, prompt engineering)

  • Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow)

  • Solid understanding of modern LLM architectures (GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, etc.)

  • Experience with

    • RAG systems (vector databases, embeddings, retrieval)

    • Model optimization (quantization, pruning)

    • Model serving (vLLM, Triton, FastAPI, or similar)

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multimodal models (VLM / VLA)

  • Experience deploying models on edge devices or robotics systems

  • Publications, open-source contributions, or strong project portfolio in AI

  • Basic understanding of robotics / embodied AI

Why VinMotion

  • Build AI for real humanoid robots, not just research prototypes

  • Work with top-tier AI and Robotics engineers

  • Solve challenging problems in real-world AI (physical environments)

  • Opportunities for global collaboration and US assignments

  • High-impact, fast-paced environment with strong ownership

Location

  • Hanoi, Vietnam

  • Opportunities for short-term or long-term assignments in the US

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive package (13th-month salary and performance bonus)
