Job Objective
Ensure optimal, feasible, and efficient assembly and manufacturing processes for humanoid robots; support the development of standardized procedures for prototype production and transition to mass manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize assembly and manufacturing processes for subassemblies, modules, and complete humanoid robot products.
Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), work instructions, and technical standards for each production stage.
Conduct manufacturability and assembly feasibility analysis (DFM/DFA) to ensure designs align with real-world machining and assembly conditions.
Propose and implement process improvements, tools, jigs/fixtures, and supporting equipment to enhance productivity, accuracy, and stability.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and control design teams during prototype development.
Monitor and evaluate assembly process performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
Support internal training on processes and technical standards for production and quality control teams.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, 5S principles, and quality standards in manufacturing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and improving assembly processes for electromechanical devices, robots, or similar products.
Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA, Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, and production layout design.
Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or equivalent).
Excellent planning, process analysis, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Preferred: Experience in prototype development, robotics, or high-tech equipment manufacturing.
