ASSEMBLY INTEGRATION ENGINEER

JOB OBJECTIVE
Integrate mechanical, electrical, and control modules into a complete humanoid robot system; perform electrical, signal, and firmware validation; troubleshoot integration issues; and collaborate with the R&D team to optimize prototype performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble and integrate modules including joints, arms, legs, torso, neck, battery packs, wiring harnesses, sensors, and control boards.
Inspect mechanical assembly quality, including clearance, tolerance, alignment, and cable routing.
Upload firmware to control boards, motor drivers, and sensors according to R&D guidelines.
Conduct electrical power-on testing (motors, drivers, sensors) and verify signal integrity (voltage, current, UART/I2C/SPI/CAN, etc.).
Diagnose and troubleshoot integration issues related to mechanics, electronics, signals, and firmware; provide feedback to the design team.
Propose design improvements to enhance integration capability and manufacturability (DFI – Design for Integration).
Develop integration guidelines and electrical/signal/firmware testing checklists.
Design or propose jigs and fixtures to support assembly and testing of complex modules.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Robotics, Automation, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in integrating mechatronic products, robots, or automated machinery.
Experience in firmware flashing, electrical testing, and basic signal analysis using multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and standard electrical/mechanical tools.
Solid understanding of communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, PWM, and board–motor–sensor integration.
Basic mechanical design knowledge and ability to read 2D/3D technical drawings.
Strong systems thinking, debugging/problem-solving skills, and effective collaboration with design, process, and manufacturing teams.
