VinMotion is at the forefront of robotics innovation, developing advanced humanoid robots for various applications. We are looking for an experienced EBOM Expert to manage engineering product data, Engineering BOM (EBOM) structures, and engineering change processes for next-generation humanoid robotic systems. 

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, traceability, and lifecycle control of all engineering product data across multidisciplinary R&D teams, including mechanical, electrical, embedded, and manufacturing engineering.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in BOM management, PLM/PDM systems, configuration management, and engineering change control within complex hardware product development environments.

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Engineering BOM (EBOM) Management: Create, maintain, and control multi-level Engineering BOMs for humanoid robot products and subsystems. Manage BOM structures, Ensure BOM accuracy, Maintain synchronization between CAD system, PLM platforms, ERP/MES systems. Validate BOM completeness before key NPI milestones

• Engineering Change Management: Manage and execute engineering change control processes. Coordinate and track: ECR, ECN. Maintain revision history and product traceability. Ensure all engineering releases follow approval workflows and documentation standards. Manage Pre-CAB, CAB (Change Approval Board) meeting to get approval for any engineering change proposals

• Product Data & Part Structure Control: Define and maintain Part numbering systems, Naming conventions, Classification structures, Metadata standards. Manage centralized component libraries.

• PLM Administration & Process Governance

• Cross-Functional Collaboration, Act as the engineering data focal point.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• At least 10+ years of experience in EBOM/BOM management, PLM System, Engineering change management, Hardware R&D in automotive or Robotics/consumer electronics, high tech MFG, semiconductor…

• Proficiency in PLM Teamcenter systems and MS Office.

• Good problem-solving skills, teamwork, and communication for cross-functional

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with humanoid robotics, exoskeletons, or electric vehicles.

• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve validation bottlenecks.

• Knowledge of cost-saving strategies such as bundling tests and virtual validation tools.
